The role
Working within our Site Assessment and Remediation team (SAR) your role is reporting directly to the Group Team Leader. As a Senior Environmental Scientist you will work with the project team to provide services to a variety of private and public sector clients located within WA. A key emphasis is to build relationships with existing and new clients by providing high quality service to meet client expectations. It is also anticipated that you will also be actively involved in other projects nationally as required.
Key areas of accountabilities are for outcomes around:
- The management of proposals and projects on contaminated site assessment and remediation
- Cross promotion of Coffey services into Environmental Management and Protections sectors
- Ensuring that junior staff are proficiently trained to be technically up to date and compliant with relevant legislation
You will be an integral part of the WA Environments team and their success.
The person
We are seeking a team member with significant experience, preferably 10+ years, in Environmental Management/Protection primarily in contamination assessment and relevant qualifications. Your in-depth knowledge of the WA market will be a distinct advantage.
Your ‘can do’ attitude coupled with the desire to take on greater responsibility with the team and strong use of initiative will ensure your outstanding achievement and fulfilment in this role.
Naturally your exceptional communication and leadership skills and commercial acumen will ensure your success.
