Carrier Business Manager - London, Kenya & Singapore )

This role will be on 2 year Term Contract on Full Time basis

There are 3 positions currently available in the locations of London, Kenya, Singapore

Carrier Business Manager is entrusted with...

serving the Targeted Major Global Carrier Customers through successful add on services and optimal portfolio mix,

Responsible for achieving revenue and order booking targets for the Account and developing strong relationships with the customers at various levels (CEO, CFO, CIO and Business Unit Leaders).

Business Owner of the account, responsible for understanding & anticipating customer requirement, mapping competition and positioning Airtel Enterprise Services as the preferred service provider for the account.

Providing top of the line services through an account management team and ensure a higher Revenue Market Share and customer satisfaction for the account.

Principle Accountabilities

1) Achieving the assigned Global Data and Voice Wholesale Revenue from the assigned accounts

The position will be responsible for all the business from global Data and Voice wholesale In the accounts assigned . The position will be based outside of India and closer to the global customers. The position will build the global carrier business with the help of a team and ensure that all the revenue targets from these accounts is met.

2) Achieving the assigned Global Wholesale Data and Voice OB from the assigned accounts

To generate the leads and convert them to Order booking from the global wholesale to ensure that the targets are met consistently. To ensure that Bharti is penetrating into multiple carrier segments across geographies and that we are gaining RMS on a Y on Y Basis l

3) Maintain profitability for business from carriers

  • Attain EBIDTA and maintain the same.
  • Reducing Cost of Infrastructure, both OPEX and CAPEX. Ensuring Margins are maintained By constantly reducing Opex
  • Increase Partnerships with carriers and also products to increase revenue streams.
  • Have focussed teams on the International Business in the regions and also build teams across the globe to develop new revenue streams.
  • Build new models and products with Carriers to increase profitability.

4) Revenues Planning & Market share

  • Forecasting and planning next financial year’s vertical target on the basis of the Bharti group’s business plan for global Wholesale, last year’s performance and future potential.
  • Predicting vertical trends, bases annual sales forecasting etc.
  • Ensuring protection of existing market shares through customer retention and effective sales strategy implementation
  • Mapping customer spending patterns, its future telecom/ communication budgets, possible expansion plans, and its financial limits.
  • Ensure pipeline is build up with new potential account, and new order prospects

5) Customer Delight, Account Retention, Controlled churn

By creating a differentiated customer experience, controlling revenue churn and maximising revenue by evolving innovative and new products and services

6) Ensuring Satisfied Customers by achieving high CSMM scores

Introducing a very efficient and effective Service Account Management system and to offer differentiated and delightful customer engagement.

7) Timely Revenue Assurance

Tight monitoring and credit control ensured better collection Percentage

8) International Alliances

Identifying, contacting & facilitating tie-ups with international telecom service providers along with the top management.

Setting up & managing international operations and support team

9) Process Flow and SLA adherence

Ensuring signing of main proposal at customer HQ & replication of the proposal terms at the customer sites in other regions

Reviewing target achievement by the Regional Business Mangers at the end of the month and taking appropriate action in case of a shortfall.

10) Information Tracking

  • Accumulating regular updates, information and feedback on AES products and services.
  • Maintain funnel by teams in ECRM
  • Tracking the number of order closures, opportunity identification, orders logged in Metasolv.
  • Tracking Order Processing & Management System for billing, collections & management activities.
  • Track accrued revenues for each vertical by Regional Business Manager (vertical) through the Revenue Tracker
  • Tracking competition activities from key customers, sales and delivery & care people.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Experience : MBA / 8+ years in Telecom

For KENYA:

Should have worked in various parts of Africa/Primarily focus on candidates relationships with International carriers. Product knowledge is not completely aligned can be considered to be hired/Should have voice and data experience both/Should have both sales and business development experience

For SINGAPORE:

Should have worked in countries like South east Asia, North Asia and Indo China/ Primarily focus on candidates relationships with International carriers. Product knowledge is not completely aligned can be considered to be hired/Ideally multilingual/Should have voice and data experience both/Should have both sales and business development experience

For LONDON:

Ideally multilingual/Should have worked in countries like Germany Italy Spain France Belgium Netherland/Primarily focus on candidates relationships with International carriers/ Product knowledge is not completely aligned can be considered to be hired (This is true for both US and Europe)/Should have voice and data experience both/Should have both sales and business development experience
