Our EDUCATION practice has exciting plans to expand its portfolio with major bilateral clients in Europe and the UK as well as Australia and the USA, To support this expansion, we are looking to appoint a senior professional who will drive profitability and maximise opportunities across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- drive growth, whilst overseeing the commercial management of the EDUCATION practice;
- provide institutional direction for further development;
- liaise with and maintain networks and relationships with key clients, partners and associates;
- lead and oversee EDUCATION tenders;
- manage and develop our key assets…our people.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years proven management experience at a senior level as well as a further 7 years of experience in an international development setting;
- Superior financial acumen, political acuity and diplomacy;
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- Commercial “savvy” coupled with innate ability to think strategically;
- Outstanding leadership and relationship management;
- Proven record of building, leading and managing teams whilst creating an enabling work environment; A track record and strong reputation for delivering to client (e.g. DFID; USAID; AusAid) expectations
- Ability to influence and liaise at a senior level; understanding of the economic, social and political context of the regions in which GRM operates.
