Head Of Operations, FINCA Zambia

FINCA Zambia is looking for a Head of Operations. The Head of Operations reports to CEO (Chief Executive Officer) fo Zambia and supervises Customer Support Center, Delivery Channels Management, Payments and Reconciliation, Banking Operations.

Role description:

• A member of the Management Board accountable for key decisions made affecting the management of the company ensuring all effort is consistent with the strategic vision and directed in support of the business objectives.
• Responsible for all operations functions that support the full range of client sales and service delivery activities through the branch and delivery channel networks.
• Accountable for the management of the central operations budget.
• Responsible for ensuring all operational processes are regulation compliant, up to date and optimized in terms of human effort and cost to FINCA

Requirements:

Education	Bachelor’s Degree [minimum qualification] Professional qualifications will be an added advantage
Work Experience	Minimum of 10 years work experience in financial/banking sector with a minimum of 5 years as a functional team leader in various capacities
Skills	Leadership skills Strong interpersonal skills Finance/Numeracy skills Sound communication skills Time management Proactive and logical approach.
Knowledge	Strong knowledge of banking operations, products & processes. Strong knowledge of card business, channel management, customer service, money transfers, and relationship management Practical knowledge of project management Practical knowledge of Core Banking Applications Proficiency in Computer Applications/Microsoft Office
