Chemonics seeks a deputy chief of party for the anticipated four-year, USAID-funded Integrity Investments Initiative (I3) Program in the Philippines. I3 aims to facilitate higher economic growth by reducing the costs of corruption to investment and trade through the promotion of open and fair competition. I3's components will focus on increasing the Philippine government's effectiveness in enforcing anticorruption laws by improving the legal structure for detecting corruption and managing of investigations and prosecutions, by reducing opportunities for public sector corruption, and by improving corporate governance in private business and government corporations. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and develop program activities
- Provide overall contextual knowledge of the Philippine anticorruption environment and leverage networks to achieve program objectives and goals
- Supervise long-term staff, short-term specialists, and coordinators to ensure efficient and effective activity implementation
- Manage the program's monitoring and evaluation activities
- Market program activities and oversee the development and distribution of program information, including progress reporting, success stories, and other high-visibility communications material
- Provide direct support to the client, as directed by the chief of party and/or client
- Serve as acting chief of party as required
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or higher in management, law, international development, monitoring and evaluation, public administration, business management, accounting, financial management, or other relevant field
- Minimum five years of proven experience managing similar projects
- Superb management capabilities in ensuring financial and administrative efficiency
- Demonstrated technical familiarity in corruption prevention, improving anticorruption enforcement, and improving corporate governance
- Strong project management and communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders including government, NGOs, and private companies
- Familiarity with or experience working in Asia preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluency in written and spoken English required
