Chemonics Chief of party Philippines

Chemonics seeks a chief of party for the anticipated four-year, USAID-funded Integrity Investments Initiative (I3) program in the Philippines. I3 aims to facilitate higher economic growth by reducing the costs of corruption to investment and trade through the promotion of open and fair competition. I3's components will focus on increasing the Philippine government's effectiveness in enforcing anticorruption laws by improving the legal structure for detecting corruption and managing of investigations and prosecutions, by reducing opportunities for public sector corruption, and by improving corporate governance in private business and government corporations. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.



Responsibilities include:

  • Provide overall program leadership and vision and supervise the personnel team
  • Serve as the program's primary liaison with USAID, government counterparts, and local partners
  • Provide overall contextual knowledge of the Philippine anticorruption environment and leverage networks to achieve program objectives and goals
  • Oversee work planning, financial management, and budgeting
  • Ensure that all program assistance is technically sound and appropriate
  • Provide direction for client communications and relations


Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or higher in law, political economy, public administration/policy, economics, business, social sciences, or other relevant field
  • Five to ten years of proven experience and expertise in achieving sustainable results in anticorruption-related work
  • Technical expertise in corruption prevention and corporate governance strongly desired
  • Strong project management and communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Familiarity with or experience working in Asia preferred
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required
