Due to increased demand, a position now exists in our Washington DC office to join our centralised Recruitment Unit. Our objective is to add measurable value and provide a quality end to end service designed specifically to support our often complex, sophisticated, global staffing needs. Responsibilities involve effective partnering with internal clients, sourcing and maintaining a network of “in demand” talent

Effectively you will channel your drive, passion, and ambition in ONE direction….your internal client, contractor and talent base. This pivotal role is challenging and demanding. The team will welcome your innovation, intelligence, and experience.

The variety within this role includes

  • Supporting the Recruitment team in sourcing for international projects and tenders
  • Building and maintaining a network of qualified candidates;
  • Management of talent pools
  • Production of reports relating to market trends and activity
  • Participating and collaborating with technical and project staff to develop strategic recruitment campaigns and identify the resources to track senior industry specialists;
  • Representing GRM/Futures International at career fairs, off-site recruitment efforts, and networking events.
  • Develop networks within the industry, providing opportunities for talent attraction and knowledge gathering

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, /Human Resources and/or International Development related field.
  • Approximately 2 years proven experience in a similar research and results focussed role
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise at all levels;
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Interest/background in both international and private sector development;
  • Excellent researching capabilities and internet savvy;
  • Availability to travel if required.
