Human and institutional capacity development specialists

Chemonics seeks short-term experts in human and institutional capacity development, organizational assessment, team building, and performance monitoring systems to provide consulting services for anticipated USAID-funded human and institutional capacity development projects in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Sudan. We seek development professionals equipped with strong training experience to assist in improving the organizational effectiveness of USAID partner organizations, including host-country institutions. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in international development, organizational development, or other relevant field
  • Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred
  • Minimum five years of professional experience working on USAID capacity development programs in complex and dynamic work environments
  • Experience interacting with senior government officials in politically sensitive environments
  • Experience working with diverse organizations conducting performance assessments and monitoring based on the Performance Improvement model
  • Experience or familiarity working in USAID Countries of Particular Concern (CPC), including Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan, or similar environments
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Fluent English required; relevant foreign language ability strongly preferred
