a member of the team in charge of an EU funded project with Eastern Countries (http://www.eurochambres.eu/content/Default.asp?PageID=274).
Under the supervision of the Director of the Department, the project assistant will back up the Project Manager and the Senior Accountant in the follow up of the administrative, technical and financial aspects of the project. In addition she /he must be able to understand the process and to communicate with the partners or stakeholders of the project.

Job Description
The project assistant will be in charge of:
- The administrative and financial follow up of each activity.
- Drafting communication papers for the team and the partners, according to the project manager ‘guidelines.
- A timely collection of all the information required to prepare technical and financial reports for the European Commission
- Checking the eligibility of the invoices and the consistency of the reports bearing in mind the European Commission provisions for grant contracts
- Requesting missing documents or additional information from the partners
- Managing data linked to activities and reports
- The logistics of meetings and activities organised in Brussels, including preparations of files and badges
- The follow up of some of the Department administrative tasks (ie managing the Website and other platforms)
- Young Executive Assistant Graduate option « Office Management «
- Very good written and spoken English, knowledge of a second language an asset.
- Very good command of Microsoft Office (Word, EXCEL, Access, Powerpoint) and ability to work on the web.
