Specific Minimum Qualifications and Expertise
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills
 - Excellent organisational skills and capable of managing shifting priorities
 - Proven expertise of working with IT systems and packages, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
 - Able to work effectively in both a team environment and independently on bespoke projects
 - An interest in, or knowledge of renewable energy, particularly biomass fuels, is desirable
 
Purpose
To assist with Ofgem’s administration of several renewable schemes, with a particular focus on fuelled (biomass, waste and co-fired) generating stations.
Key Outputs and Deliverables
- To liaise with fuelled stations in the review of their fuel measurement and sampling proposals to ensure they are suitable for the schemes we administer
 - Responding to enquiries from stakeholders on fuelling aspects of the schemes we administer
 - Stakeholder consultation on fuelling issues
 - Updating guidance and the production of other documents
 - Reviewing biofuel audit reports submitted in accordance with the Renewables Obligation sustainability criteria
 - Supporting the ‘Manager – Fuelled Stations’ and leading on ad-hoc projects as required
 - Potential for undertaking accreditation reviews for fuelled stations for the schemes we administer
