The role

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Highways Engineer to work closely with our other specialists to assist in the growth of our Transport sector in Brisbane and Northern Region.
With a minimum of 5 years commercial experience in design of Transport projects, you will play a key role in:
  • PROJECT DELIVERY: Lead and undertake design for Transport projects including roads, rail and ports. Deliver projects within a sound project management framework on time, to budget and client satisfaction.
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Develop and nourish strong relationships with new and existing clients.
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
  • 5 years professional experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience in design of multidisciplinary projects within the Transport sector.
  • Good working knowledge of Project Management and QA procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior report-writing competencies.
  • Undergraduate degree qualifications in civil engineering and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (or ability to obtain).
