FCG International Ltd has been shortlisted for the ADB financed PPTA for the Thirds Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project in Nepaland is currently searching for suitable candidate for the post of International Team Leader.
The Third Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project will support the ongoing efforts of the Government of Nepal to further improve water supply and sanitation service delivery in small towns in Nepal.
The TL duties include the following: 1) leading the overall organization and implementation of the PPTA; 2) guidance, supervision and coordination the work of all the team members (total of ca. 6 international and 11 national experts); 3) preparation and consolidation of team reporting; 4) quality assurance for the team outputs; 5) close coordination with the EA, PMO, ADB; and 6) supervise the production of all specified tasks and deliverables in order to achieve the proposed project outputs: a) improved water supply and sanitation infrastructure; b) improved institutional capacity and project implementation platform; and c) improved financing mechanism for infrastructure investments.
The intended commencement date is end of July 2013 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 8 person months from this date.
The specialist we are looking for should have:
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in water supply or sanitation engineering;
- Professional working experience in three countries minimum
- Working experience as a team leader for at least 5 water and sanitation projects with ADB and/or other multi-lateral development agencies;
- At least 15 years of experience in designing, constructing and operating, preferably small-scaled, water supply and sanitation projects in the developing world and in areas vulnerable to natural disasters in South Asia or South East Asia;
- Experience in finance and operational management is preferred;
- Experience on Nepal and Project Preparatory Technical Assistance is preferred.
