WWF Laos -: IT Officer & Project Officer

WWF-Lao Country Office is seeking to recruit two well-qualified and experienced Lao Nationals to work for 2 positions (IT Officer based in Vientiane Capital and Project Officer for livelihood support based in Kong District of Champasack Province).

WWF-Laos, part of WWF-Greater Mekong’s regional programme, is working to conserve the country’s biodiversity and build a secure and sustainable future for people and wildlife. 

Laos encompasses some of the most significant forest areas remaining in Southeast Asia, vital to the health and well-being of people and home to rare and endangered species. Winding through Laos, the Mekong River is host to hundreds of fish species and provides a critical source of protein and livelihoods for millions. Few places on Earth are blessed with such natural riches, and few places on Earth demonstrate so dramatically the fundamental link between people and nature. 

IT Officer (full-time)

Base location: 
Vientiane, Lao PDR

The IT Officer ensures the development, implementation and monitoring of IT action plan, which is aligned to the GMPO IT Strategy. He/she also ensures the smooth and efficient function of IT system of WWF Laos and provides technical helps on electricity related issues when required.

Project Support Officer for livelihood support - (full time)

Base location: 
Khong District, Champassak province.

The Project Officers provide support to the Project Manager in the planning, management, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities to ensure compliance with the project’s objectives and WWF’s contractual obligations and ensure close collaboration between project management, partners and other relevant stakeholders in the project sites.
