Background to FACE: FACE for Children in Need is Belgian charity, founded in 2003, whose goals are to ensure orphans and children living in Egypt have a better future.
FACE currently has five projects: three of these being within the Early Childhood Development Program (ECD). ECD projects include: Maadi Centre for abandoned babies aged 0-2 years, Benha orphanage for children aged 2-6 years and Obour for children aged 2-18 years.
Job summary: This job requires someone with an education, and preferably experience, in childcare or social work, as well as being a strong trainer.
The overriding objective of this role is to be responsible for planning, organizing, leading and supervising training according to our project proposal accepted by the European Commission. The project entails delivery of training modules to Orphanage Managers working in the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Health run orphanages. The various modules will include: individual case-management of children for familial and societal reintegration, project management, child protection, case management, standards of childcare, Training of Trainer etc. You will be responsible for follow up to training and all associated reporting for training in the EU project as well as management of the training budget.
The Training (TD) will also be responsible for organizing and managing the various training programs within the ECD section of FACE. You will be responsible for developing and delivering ongoing professional training to ECD managers and staff as well as keeping updated Individual training plans for them.
The TD will also be responsible for developing high standard monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the donors and counterparts.
