Facility Manager - Social Protection And Sustainable Livelihoods Program In Laos


Maxwell Stamp is seeking a Facility Manager/Team Leader to provide overall management of the upcoming Social Protection and Sustainable Livelihoods Component for the AusAID funded Laos- Australia Rural Livelihoods Program. The program aims to increase economics security and resilience of poor women and men in rural areas though increasing access to social protection, financial services, productive assets and opportunities to generate income. This position will be a long term role based in Laos.
Candidates should demonstrate the following competencies:
  • Extensive and proven experience in managing similar large donor-funded initiatives, in social protection and sustainable livelihoods.
  • Experience in increasing economic security for poor people in rural areas through enabling greater access to social protection and opportunities to generate income.
  • Familiarity of working with and managing NGOs
  • Excellent management skills, including planning and budgeting for large projects.
  • The ability to build and maintain good collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Government of Lao agencies, development partners, NGOs, and the private sector
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience working in Laos and on AusAID funded projects desirable
  • Strong track record of promoting gender equity and empowerment of women is highly desirable
