This could be your chance to make a real difference for nature! In an RSPB region renowned for it’s diversity and natural beauty, we’re looking for someone to advise on the management of 28 RSPB nature reserves. From the Mull of Galloway and it’s seabird cliffs, to the flower rich machair of Tiree, the reserves cover a wide diversity of habitats supporting a vast range of wildlife.
You will join a small team of Reserves Ecologists based at our Scottish HQ, though your role will take you to the peatland of Aird’s Moss, the wetlands of Loch Gruinart supporting barnacle geese, corncrakes and choughs, and the lichen-crusted oakwoods of Inversnaid.
You will be involved in guiding our ambitions to excel in habitat and species management on established and new reserves. If you think you have the knowledge, skills, patience and determination to drive our conservation management forward, working with the Regional Reserve Management Team, Site Managers and Wardens, then we want to hear from you!
