Bin Belt Attendant
Tasks and responsibilities: • Ensure that product remains on the belt and that belt tracking is correct • Be responsible for ensuring good housekeeping principles in area of responsibility • Perform visual inspections on shuts and conveyor belts • Remove foreign objects from belt • Report waste spillages in conveyor belt areas • Clean waste spillages in conveyor belt areas once conveyor belts have been stopped and are safe for cleaning action.
Minimum requirements: • Grade 12 • Previous experience in a related position will be an added advantage.
Other skills/competencies: • Material handling • Mining experience with exposure to ore processing will be advantageous.
