Administration and Support Services Manager

Concern Worldwide Uganda is recruiting for various positions for the USAID- funded PL 480 Title II Development Food Aid programme called “Resiliency through Wealth, Agriculture and Nutrition RWANU”) in Karamoja to be implemented from August 2012 through July, 2017. RWANU will focus on two strategic objectives to reduce food insecurity among vulnerable rural populations in selected sub -counties in 4 districts of Karamoja: (1) Improved availability and access to food and (2) reduced malnutrition in pregnant and lactating mothers and children under five. All positions will be based in Karamoja.
Administration and Support Services Manager
  • Will lead and manage logistics, transport, security, procurement, IT, and administration functions of RWANU. Specifically, s/he will provide advice in the strengthening of logistics and procurement systems, ensure that IT systems remain effective and oversee the maintenance of the field office and residential accommodation spaces. S/he will provide basic HR, health & safety and security briefing to all Karamoja visitors.

Requirement:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field and 5 years relevant working experience in an NGO.
  • S/he will have strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational, planning and communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
