Inventory Management - Preowned

1. Act as interface between Cisco Capital Pre-Owned Equipment (POE) Sales, Cisco POE remanufacturing, and our contract manufacturing vendor organization to insure we are supplying high quality pre-owned equipment to our customers.
2. Indentify and work as part of a cross-functional team to program manage resolution of issues that impact the completion of sales transactions and product delivery.
3. Assist with the develop of a supply demand process in order to set remanufacturing production plans and acquisitions of inventory from WWRL and the market to insure we have the proper levels of inventory to meet our customer demands.
4. Develop and manage a product requirements process by analyzing new Cisco sales , customers demand feedback, and on hand inventory turnover in order to plan to optimize our acquisitions from WWRL and the market..
5. Develop an effective inventory management process to insure that we are optimizing the utilization of our inventory investment. This will include identifying good selling products as the sales volume start to decline in order for sales and marketing to develop targeted programs to clear inventory before it ages on the shelves and becomes a scrap candidate.
6. Develop and manage a scrap process to insure we are clearing our inventory of aged and obsolete products.
7. Be a remanufacturing advocate for our customers by insuring that their requirements are being identified and effectively integrated via re-engineering into our remarketing processes. Additionally, insure that these coordinated re-engineering efforts will get us to a leadership position in the market of delivering quality products and customer service.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:
1. BS degree in a business or technical discipline, or equivalent, MBA a plus
2. 10-12 years inventory management, process re-engineering, and supply/demand planning
3. Prior relevant work experience (remarketing, technical sales, etc.) in the technology industry, Cisco product knowledge or networking product knowledge a plus.

Knowledge and Skills Required
1. Strong communications skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
2. Coordination of complex processes across multiple organizations.
3. Background in sales or negotiations focused assignments
4. Ability to analyze and research complex issues and provide resolution.
5. Comfortable working directly with sales force and customers on the issues of configuration, pricing, satisfaction, etc.
