Policy Adviser - Personal Finance Which?

For more than five decades, we've been working to bring about positive change. Fifty years of changing laws, changing lives and getting a fair deal for consumers. People rely on us for independent, impartial advice, and to help them make the right choices.

With the number of choices and the range of services available for consumers getting bigger all the time, it's up to us to listen to what people really need and help them navigate the myriad of options out there. Our Policy team is at the heart of this, and you could be too.

We work directly with banks and established the Future of Banking Commission to address challenges faced by the industry and the consumer. In light of recent banking reform and the financial crisis, we're expanding and looking for a new adviser to join us to offer specialist support.

You may not have worked directly on personal finance issues before but you should have a confident and thorough interest in and understanding of the main issues in this sector. You'll also be up to date on the most recent commercial and regulatory developments. You'll be experienced at researching and analysing consumer markets and products, with a head for numbers and an eye for detail. You'll have no problem identifying issues and presenting your findings to anyone from the boardroom to the backbench.

This role carries great responsibility, with the opportunity of shaping the work we do and improving customer experience across a wide range of financial services from credit cards, investment funds or insurance.

This is your chance to make an impact at an organisation that's proud to be the voice of the UK consumer.
