Commercial Development Manager Germany

Being the expert in the OBPPC (Occasion Brand Package Price Channel Mix) process, the Commercial Development Manager is responsible for understanding how our target consumers behave as shoppers, in different channels and formats, and leveraging this intelligence to the benefit of all stakeholders, defined as brand managers, consumers, customers, and shoppers. This is including category management, sales, packaging, sales communication and market research.



KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. OBPPC Development and Initiatives
• Evolve & articulate OBPPC (Occasion Brand Package Price Channel Mix) architecture and seek for opportunities
• Deepen and better articulate occasion segmentation and value creation approach
• Deploy smart shopper sell-In stories for new products/packages being launched
• Support of operational OBPPC Group and other important OBPPC Projects


2. Shopper insights to action
• Ensure linkage of shopper insights to system planning process, activation into Customer + Channel Program
• Accelerate depth of shopper knowledge, identify and address shopper research needs and build a common shopper insights-platform in collaboration with the Strategic Planning function
• Build presentations to retailers as starting point for collaborative work.


3. Commercial Capability and Customer understanding
• Generate Top Customer/channel information in order to build capabilities in Germany
• Lead the Trade ads process and develop power facts ads for the German Coke System


4. In General
Partner with our Bottling Partner's Marketing & Sales Function, our Strategic Planning Function and our Brand Management Function

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 3-5 years professional experience within the area of Sales, Key Account Management, Marketing, Market Research preferably in an international brand Company

  • University Degree, business administration

  • Category Management Certificate (ECR-DACH) is an advantage, but not mandatory

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Shopper and Consumer Knowledge

  • Independent Project Management

  • Retailing and Retail Merchandising knowledge

  • Ability to transform analytical information into “easy to sell” messages and initiatives

  • Team player and very strong in building relationships

  • Fluency in German and English language required
