PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The connectivity analyst role requires the ideal candidate to conduct requirements analysis, solutions design, consulting, service level management and performance reporting, capacity planning and proactive support services to customers on connectivity solutions to archive the performance goals defined by business needs, including access to business application, communication and collaboration tools, and other local needs to be identified.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct user profiling/segmentation analyst per site and context, according to the bandwidth and networks resources required for the applications and services that users need to access.
- Maintain awareness of connectivity infrastructure and solutions per country in the order to ensure maximum utilisation of local solutions, including fixed broadband solutions, mobility solutions, and private network environments, among others.
- Conduct business analysis, and develop an understanding of business issues and goals in order to provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Meet with appropriate users groups and business applications owners to determine requirements and expectations.
- Recommend QoS policies as per the users/sites profiles/segments.
- Development of business cases and trade-off studies for national offices on connectivity investments and solutions.
- Provide consulting on negotiation and contract review with local and regional vendors.
- Develop and propose RFP/RFI templates and processes for connectivity solutions.
- Ensure a Capacity planning process exists at country level and that can be aggregated to have a regional/global level view.
- Provide technical knowledge and consulting services to internal clients and members of the FSG team, including the analysis of system and network performance.
- Analyse system performance to identify deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement, based on trending information, business requirements and operational issues.
- Emphasis is on proactive performance analysis and the implementation of measures in end to end connectivity to maximise up time and to provide timely response to problems affecting internal, as well as external clients.
- Participate in and may take the lead of technical discussions impacting aspects of the connectivity performance.
- May assist in the research of new technology trends and make recommendations/plans for the future of the connectivity solutions.

- Strong documenting practices, synthesis capacity and likes for write papers and articles.
- Project Management training and experience is required, Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
