CPS SG - Production Scheduler Singapore

Fulfil customers’ orders by coordinating with all departments to maximizing resources utilization through optimum Weekly and Daily Planning / Scheduling. Due to the job demands in this position, he/she will be required to perform specific job assignments as assigned by the Supervisor as and when it is deemed necessary.



1. Production Planning
Prepare Weekly & Daily production plan (through YPSR2) base on demand, available capacity & resources.
Release Weekly and Daily Schedule on time and communicate the schedule to all stakeholders.
Confirm released material availability at the point of PO release. Inform and sort out with Master Planner if there are any ingredient shortage issues.
Work with Operations to execute Work Centre assignments and provide maximize resources and capacity utilization, minimize changeover time and optimal production sequence in daily production schedule.
Monitor, review and re-schedule work orders to meet delivery timeline and avoid stock out. Communicate plan missed to Production Supervisors and Master Planner for potential threats and recovery plan.
Update data on SAP & use it effectively for day to day activities.
Analyse the data on planned & actual production, justify variance.
Work with all departments to schedule plan downtime or shutdown such as holidays, new product trials, maintenance (calibration of tanks), training, company events and others.
Ensure all process orders are released on time, print PI sheet / PO / transfer. Inform Supervisor if PO is not closed within 24 hours.
Review and determine optimal lot size with Supervisor regularly and revert back to Master Planner to update SAP.


2. Production achievement and improvement opportunity
Monitor and report daily and weekly production performance to plan and work with team to priorities schedule according to delivery plan.
Monitor and report material usage variance (MUV) and work with team to reduce variance.
Record and analyse various downtimes such as changeover time, idling time due to change of plan / rejected material / cancelled by customer and others. The data allow the team to improve further in future.


3. SAP Maintenance and Inventory Control
Assign the right BCH remnant / WIP to Operations according to FEFO. Attend MRB meeting to investigate high variance or wastage of BCH remnants or WIPs. Schedule rework if it is necessary.
Monitor and control inventory of remnant / WIP (Actual vs SAP)
Participate in Materials Review Board (MRB) and highlight to team if there is any risk of expiry or disposal.
Coordinate rework with various parties (production, warehouse, QA and others).

4. Maintain company policy or requirements
Prepare and implement planning programs / SOPs which comply with ISO and SCE requirements.
Strictly follow and comply to CoBC (Code of Business Conduct), Safety, eKO, KORE and other new policy / requirement.


5. None stock materials for production
Monitor inventory and usage of none stock (OpEx) materials.
Purchase, receive and store the materials.
Issue the materials to production use

Qualification Requirements:
- NITEC or Diploma in any Science Discipline
- Preferable one to two year experience in food manufacturing company in similar positions
- Knowledgeable in planning tools and SAP
- Technical knowledge in line operations and machine maintenance / repair will be added advantage
