Eurasia Foundation (EF) is seeking a Graphic Designer for its Online Family Law Center (OFLC) program. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing the program website. The Graphic Designer will also design a logo for the program. Working with Program Officer, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for all design-related elements at all stages of design, outline and final versions ensuring that they meet the requirements set by program staff.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares initial sketches of ideas for program logo.
- Produces a logo that represents the program concept.
- Designs the layout, templates and themes of the program website.
- Presents the design concepts to the Program Officer.
- Participates actively in online or/and in-house meetings as necessary for the accurate and timely completion of the design on an on-going basis.
- Keeps abreast of design and industry trends for E-learning platforms, online technology, color, format, etc.
- Handles concept-to-delivery of all graphic elements for the program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design / Graphic Arts required.
- Minimum of five years relevant experience.
- Strong design skills, including creative design solutions.
- Team player with strong conceptual skills and the ability to think out of the box.
- Solid understanding of deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them.
- Proficiency in current graphic design practices and design software, such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in E-learning Platforms such as Moodle.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Experience with Persian Language design and understanding of Iranian websites.
- Fluency in written and spoken in English and Persian is required.
- Proficiency in HTML coding is a plus.
