This appointment is based on an influx of current projects in the Wellington region and also succession planning and growing their New Zealand technical teams. It is imperative you have excellent communication skills and have both the confidence and the technical ability to support on a board range of fit out and refurbishment and new build projects.
You will work both autonomously and in a collaborative team environment with engineers and architects creating designs for mechanical services and working closely with clients, contractors and suppliers for building projects throughout the country, including Christchurch.
The technical work will include detailed design of HVAC, water services (hydraulics) systems for buildings projects across the industrial, commercial, government and private sector organisations. This will vary on projects and could also include: functional descriptions and performance specifications, piping systems, heat generation, eg; heat pumps (underfloor heating) hot water generation and reticulation and co-ordination of plant and plant services of mechanical works.
