Innovations for Learning, a nationwide nonprofit dedicated to improving K-5 literacy education, is seeking an experienced and driven development director to solicit major grants and gifts from foundations, corporations and individual donors.
Our organization has reached an inflection point after 20 years of development. We are increasingly becoming recognized as a pioneer in the use of technology to improve reading education, and we are rapidly scaling our solution to major school districts nationwide. We have become a prime candidate for major gifts, and we are seeking a person with a strong commitment to education to help us accelerate our funding as we grow.
This is an opportunity to become a member of the senior leadership team of one of the fastest growing and most innovative nonprofits in education.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years experience as the leader for major grant/gift solicitations for an education nonprofit. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
We are seeking an individual with a passion for education and the never-say-die attitude of the best donor solicitors.
Applicants can reside anwhere in the US. No relocation is required.
