Our client is a global operator which requires an experienced individual to lead a team in taking responsibility for providing Engineering Support to operations staff and ensure field plant and facilities are operated safely and within design.
This highly visible role will see the successful individual supporting operations production and maintenance teams to ensure production, plant and facility performance meets company targets.
In addition the remit will cover the management of modifications to plant and equipment, liaison with asset integrity teams to ensure facilities, pipelines, plant and equipment are fit for purpose as well as ensuring engineering systems and procedures are in place and effective to support safe and trouble free operations.
Furthermore the role will see the successful candidate make recommendations on all areas of Operations to improve facility, plant and integrity performance and reduce OPEX and CAPEX expenditure whilst also providing input to OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
The successful candidate will provide input to and lead HAZOP, HAZID and major risk assessments and develop strong functional relationships with the HSE Group.
This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the autonomy and responsibility to pull disciplines together to push the engineering limit. These engineering firsts will see production capability double over a five year period across a number of Australian offshore assets.
Due to the offshore nature of these assets the successful individual will be required to travel to facilities and as a result must be able to meet the full requirements of an offshore medical and subsequent attainment of a TBOSIET.
