Clinical Teaching Fellow in Medical Education


Full TimeThe appointment will be on UCL Grade CL7. The salary range will be £33,798 - £42,106  per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis Clinical Teaching Fellow post has been established to develop the career of a clinician with an interest in Medical Education and will be based in the UCL Medical School. The main duties of the post holder will be in developing assessments and contributing to the Divisional teaching programme at undergraduate and postgraduate level. There will also be opportunity for contributing to the Division's research programme in medical education. The post is designed for those wishing to develop a career in this academic area from a relevant background (including the professions allied to medicine). Funding for this post is available for 12 months in the first instance.
Key RequirementsThe successful candidate would be expected to have experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including medical assessments.They should have a medical degree and be enrolled in an approved training programme for specialist training. 
The post is structured to allow candidates with a current training post to rotate into medical education for 1-2 years before returning to continuation towards their Certificate of Specialist Training (CST) in any clinical medical specialty.
