The firm is situated in Oostakker (near Ghent).
- Assistant Technical Support Engineer
- English in combination with several languages
- Technical Helpdesk
You work as a part of the Volvo Technical Support Team where you give technical support and solve technical problems for internal and external customers from Volvo truck, bus and Penta. Your main activity is to assist dealers in your language area with parts queries, service, electronic and diagnostics. The issues encountered will ask an analytic and problem solving mind.
You are in contact with designers and product engineers. You have a technical background or equal by experience (for example car mechanics, electro mechanics, electronics,etc). You have the ability to write and understand technical documents. You have good collaboration, communication and facilitation skills.
You are fluent in English in combination with French and Dutch / Geman and Dutch / Swedish and Norwegian / Russian and Czech / Russian and Polish.
Efficient knowledge of basic computer applications. You have a natural feel for continuous learning and personal involvement. You are willing to work in a shiftsystem.
