Senior Energy & Carbon Consultant

In order to keep up with market demand, we are looking to expand our energy and carbon team in Antwerp from which we deliver a variety of energy efficiency, energy management and carbon management services to industries, communities and policy makers in the whole world with focus on Europe.

Senior Energy & Carbon Consultant

Major Duties
The position reports directly to the Head of the Energy Efficiency Centre based in Antwerp.
Responsibilities include:
  • managing and delivering technical, managerial and behavioral energy and carbon projects to energy-intensive industries, buildings, communities and policy makers in Europe, and
  • contributing actively to business development & sales activities to further strengthen DNV KEMA’s position in the energy & carbon management market.
Qualifications
  • a strong technical / scientific background in energy & carbon related subjects,
  • 5+ years of working experience in an energy-intensive industry (e.g. chemical, fertilizer, cement, refinery, metallurgy, glass, pulp & paper), preferably dealing directly with energy efficiency and energy management
  • excellent spoken and written command of English and French,
    Dutch proficiency is an advantage
  • willingness to travel abroad (approx. 25% of the time)
  • inquisitive, creative and generous in sharing knowledge and experience
  • experience with GHG inventories and management is an advantage
