What your job will look like
You mainly work on internal projects, but sometimes also for external customers. Your main tasks include:
- coaching junior developers
- taking the technical lead of the NET team
- analysing requests
- participating in defining a strategy and standards in the NET environment
- being responsible for the technical architecture of the applications
- analysing, developing, maintaining, documenting and testing applications
- rewriting existing applications (done with VS 2005) with the NET framework 4
- participating in the development of new projects using the NET framework 4
Your profile
You have:
- at least a bachelor's degree in IT
- a minimum of 6 years' working experience in .NET programming, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in entity Framework, MVVM, MVC, WCF (NET framework 3.5 or 4)
- good coaching skills
- extensive experience with ASP.NET; experience in Silverlight (or WPF) is an added value
- a good knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008
- a thorough understanding of the .NET Framework and web-related technologies (JavaScript, XML, HTML, IIS, XSLT, CSS, AJAX)
- the ability to follow the Software Development Cycle from start to finish (analyse, design, develop, document, test, debug)
- excellent analytical and communication skills and a creative and problem-solving
attitude - the ability to work independently but you also are an outstanding team player
- an outstanding customer-oriented and service-minded attitude
- good communication skills in Dutch, English and French
