We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior Hydrotechnical or Civil Engineer to work with our GeoEnvironmental consulting team in any of our Canadian locations (Vancouver, Saskatoon, Yellowknife, Toronto and Sudbury). Experience in one or more of following is required:
- Developing and/or applying computer models to support hydrological analyses, water balances, water quality predictions, and/or hydraulic design.
- Performing dam break analysis.
- Providing regulatory support to clients, including assistance with the permitting process, interpretation of environmental regulations, and communications with regulators and non-governmental organizations.
- Developing water management plans, from conceptual design to detailed engineering.
- Conducting field investigations on projects for North American and international clients.
- Compiling, analyzing and reporting data.
- Preparing technical reports and presentations.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering (Post graduate degree preferred, but not required).
- Eligibility for professional registration as a P.Eng.
- 5 or more years of related work experience.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
