FLSmidth IT Project Manager (Information Systems)


Experienced implementation IT Project Manager with a proven background of executing complex application deployments to completion. Must manage and own the complete project plan, and be capable of easily adapting to changing requirements while still delivering results and meeting customer expectations. Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite roll-outs preferred. Excellent leadership skills required.

Responsibilities
Project Management/Planning including these areas:

Scope and Plan for each site - including management of deliverables according to plan

Data Conversion strategy and plan

Tests - aligned with overall regression testing plans and UAT

Cut to live plan & Burn-in phase

Resource planning to deliver site plan

Design Tools - includes alignment of product build activities

ERP - functionality gap resolution

Alignment of Change Management and Training activities

Day-to-day management of roll-out team (resource management)

Stakeholder management & communication plan/execution

Work Package description and authorization

Issue & Risk Assessment and logging

Reporting: Project status and progress reporting; incl. exceptions

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree required. Project Management certifications a plus (Prince2/PMI).

Good at building lasting relationships with stakeholders in business, the Program, and with Group IT colleagues

Excellent English language skills

Ability to cope with pressures and setbacks

Deciding and initiating actions

Persuading and influencing

Willingness to fast pick up knowledge of FLS Business processes in scope

Technical knowledge enough to control and review work package deliveries

Understanding 'change management' and training aspects related to roll-out

Travel: Willingness to travel, which may be extensive at times. Durations could last 1-3 months either within the US or a site abroad.
