You will be part of the Infrastructure Consulting team, a team of expert technology consultants and project managers focused on helping our clients bring their technical ICT infrastructure to a higher level.
As a Consultant, you are responsible for the logical design and high level technical design of the solution and the overall technology strategy and direction for the solution. The Senior Consultant focuses on ensuring that the solution meets the specified goals from both an end-user and service management perspective.
The main responsibilities include (both for presales and paid missions):
• Maintaining and developing solid relationship with customers as a trusted advisor
• Detailing and managing the solution scope and driving technology decisions
• Translating business goals into an architectural strategy
• Driving the overall high level technical design of the solution
• Ensuring consistency across all aspects of a project and within the overall solution architecture
• Ensuring traceability of features back to requirements and back to business value generation
• Using a solid and broad technology background to focus on the broad, long-term and high level aspects

As a Consultant in Unified Communications your assignments are mainly situated in the following areas:
• Actively participate in the planning, design, and implementation of Unified Communication systems, infrastructure and related hardware for customers.
• Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network supporting the Unified Communications

• Proven track record in architecture and design of complex infrastructures (mainly focused on Microsoft and Cisco). Related products and technologies are Microsoft and Cisco UC&C products like Microsoft OCS, Lync server and Cisco call manager…
• Strong knowledge of IP, voice gateways, IVR, IPT design, routers and switches is preferred.
• Understanding of protocols (SCCP, H.323, QSIG, SIP) and codec's (G.722, G.711, G.729, H.264)
• Experience in voice/video/data networking, telephony IPPBX management and voice applications
• Experience in the identifying and maintaining the voice dependencies of local and wide-area networks
• Experience in designing and implementing voice and/or data technologies
• Proven experience in technical consulting, infrastructure assessment, project envisioning, planning and design
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of a broader spectrum of UC&C products than Microsoft and Cisco
• Microsoft Certification
• Cisco Certification
• Overall Project Management skills – PMI, Prince2
• Certification in ITIL, PMI or Prince2 is an asset.
• Former experience in an infrastructure consulting or project management job is an added value
• Experience in areas such as Project management, IT processes, IT governance, IT organisation, change management, IT organizational design and management
• TCO/ROI calculation experience – able to help make the business case for IT
• Familiar with and capable of applying MSF and MOF
