Audio & Music is the home of the BBC's ten national radio stations, six Performing Groups and the BBC Proms, as well as classical and pop music production across radio, television and online. Audio & Music Interactive is a department within A&M responsible for the digital development of A&M’s content and brands on a range of platforms. We pioneer and deliver audience-facing services online, on Red Button, DTV and DAB. This Change Manager role is part of a team that creates and curates multiplatform and interactive content across the spectrum of networks and key BBC radio brands.
Role
As Change Manager, responsible for communicating change, you will write, manage and implement the communications plan for A&Mi aligned to the A&M, FM and multiplatform strategies and work across departments to implement the plan and drive behavioural change concerning planning communications. You will also be required to plan, implement and deliver A&Mi departmental meetings that include external parties and other BBC departments and manage the process and define the agenda and report on the success and gather feedback. You will also collate information and decide what to present to internal and external audiences about the status of A&Mi’s key projects.
Requirements
In this role, you will need significant experience of communications systems and processes and experience of communications planning and implementation. You'll be experienced in working with a wide range of colleagues and creating good relationships as well as the ability to negotiate and deliver accurate and detailed information. You will need to have substantial experience of managing projects with a thorough understanding of project management approaches. You will also have experience of leading teams or project groups. You will need to have a good understanding of BBC guidelines – editorial and technical, along with an interest in technical change and the opportunities for change presented by technology, particularly those technologies that are used for communicating.
