BBC Sport is looking to appoint a Production Coordinator to oversee the Independent Sport slate.  

It is estimated that workload to coordinate the Independent slate can be managed across 2 or 3 days per week. As such the post is being advertised as a part time position. 

Role

 

The Production Coordinator will provide logistical and coordination support to to Independent Producers and In House production teams, assisting in the delivery of Sports programmes.You will be responsible for liaising with Editorial peers and Independent Producers to ensure compliant delivery of Sports programmes and for ensuring all deliverables are available in a timely manner to fulfill the commission and that post production “paperwork” has been submitted and is complete and accurate.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have an open and flexible attitude to change and demonstrate extensive production experience. They will have good project management skills and be able to deliver projects to budget. A real interest in Sport is essential to enable efficient running of the output
