BBC North is home to some of the BBC's best-loved content. BBC Children & Learning is an integral part of that content, along with BBC Radio 5 live, parts of Future Media, BBC Audio & Music, BBC Vision, BBC Learning, BBC Sport and BBC Breakfast - all based at BBC North offices in Salford Quays.

From our base at Salford Quays, BBC North supports locally produced, high quality content for every platform using the latest innovations in technology. We also create new content that will be enjoyed by audiences across the UK.

Role

The key requirement of this role is to provide outstanding strategic marketing expertise to develop and implement a brand and marketing strategy across CBBC, CBeebies and Learning.

This includes translating the brand strategy into a marketing context, working collaboratively with the Creative Marketing team and Media Engagement team to deliver the annual marketing plan and ensuring the strategy is integrated with other key areas of BBC output to ensure a coherent, consistent experience for audiences.

Requirements

Coming from an in-house marketing function or from a senior position within a marketing agency, you will bring with you top-level marketing and brand development ideas, garnered from all of your experience working with recognised brands/organisations in the public or private sector.
 
Senior level credibility is a must, as is the ability to inspire teams to work collaboratively to produce engaging and exciting marketing programmes, to help promote the area of Children's and Learning content within the BBC.
 
You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to handle multiple senior stakeholders within a sometimes complex environment.
 
You will be a marketing visionary, who leads by example, through hard work, dedication and commitment to deliver outstanding brand development ideas.
