Air Quality Specialist - Dairyland Power Cooperative

Position Overview:

Dairyland Power Cooperative, a Midwestern electric generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin, seeks an Air Quality Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing the continuous emission monitoring (CEM) regulatory requirements of the Clean Air Act and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
Provide support to corporate and generating plant staff for the design, operation, and maintenance of emission monitoring equipment and for the implementation of, and compliance with, all applicable air quality permit requirements.
Assist in the preparation of emission monitoring reports and other compliance reporting requirements.
Maintain thorough knowledge of federal and state air quality regulations applicable to DPC's business operations and facilities.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Physical Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous emission monitoring (CEM), instrumentation and data acquisition systems and EPA air regulations.
Will consider Associate Degree in an environmental or physical science area or related area with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the areas defined at the B.S. level.
Additional education and military training may be substituted for a portion of the work experience.
Strong background in continuous emission monitoring (CEM) instrumentation and data acquisition systems required.
Knowledge of Environmental System Corporations (ESC) StackVision CEM data acquisition software preferred.
