The Online Advertising Platform in Bing today serves over 10 trillion ad impressions a year, each impression being computed in our data centers within milliseconds of latency. We are increasingly trying to make each impression deliver the right ad to the right person at the right time. In addition, we will also need to serve more ad impressions by multiple factors over the next few years!

As a result, our systems must access massive amounts of increasing data during the serving/decision process and support fast data updates. More importantly, in order to aggressively improve on delivery the right ad, we must provide the agility and flexibility to enable experimentation and optimization of the serving/decision process, all at massive scale and while achieving millisecond response times alongside high-availability. The Microsoft AdCenter Operability team seeks a passionate developer with strong technical skills, problem solving skills, coupled with a passion for agility, quality, and efficiency. We are looking for a smart, hands-on, detail-oriented engineer to work on the core backend systems for online services, and we offer a role with exciting charter, which includes development of infrastructure and tools for large scale systems auditing and validations. You will have a very visible role, with a chance to work on revenue impacting online systems.

Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
3+ years software development experience, preferable to have experience in Windows platform
Experience in C#/ C++ and OOD/OOP.
Strong problem solving skills
Great written and verbal communication skills.
Be a team player, have zeal to dig in and learn new areas.


Preferred skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft development technologies and tools such as Visual Studio, .NET, WCF, TFS/SD is desired but not required.
SQL Server design and coding skills is desired but not required.
Experience with test driven development, unit test frameworks, dependency-injection frameworks and agile methodology are all huge pluses
