We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Expert – Project Implementation Consultants (PICs) Punjab Barrages Improvement Phase-II (PBIP-II) Project Rehabilitation and Modernization of Jinnah Barrage, to work closely with our other specialists in Pakistan.
Will be responsible for:
1. Provide support and advice to Project Team Member all technical matters related to design, construction supervision, quality control and contractual issues;
2. Support all aspects of Project Management;
3. Conduct review of the RSC QA plan and progress reports;
4. Routine review of the RSC QA plan and progress reports
5. Conduct periodic and specific field inspections for RSC performance audit on works contract;
6. Provide advice on technical issues on construction contracts;
7. Suggest remedial measures to improve deficiencies in QA systems of the RSC;
8. Monitor project implementation schedule and activities;
9. Assist PMU in preparation of monthly Project Progress Reports (PPR);
10. Provide support for public disclosure, promotion of e- Procurement, strengthened procurement, monitoring procurement process and review performance, and efficiency of PAS;
11. Any other duties assigned by Project Manager
The program will commence Early 2013 and run for 3 month.
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
MSc in Civil Engineering. Overall experience 20 years, 10 years in Hydraulic structures, infrastructure projects with focus on QA/QC.
