Global Technology Administrator


The Global Technology Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of all of ONE’s online technologies, including maintaining the organization’s content and customer relationship platforms and ONE’s server technologies. This position manages vendor relationships to build and launch new webpage and web services technologies, report on membership metrics, and maintain analytics and statistic programs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serves as the production lead for global online projects and campaign asset builds, adding new features, writing and maintaining pages and applications, and assuring responsive design and functionality across multiple browsers and mobile devices.
  • Oversee ONE’s web servers, Content Management Systems in WordPress and Django, and Customer Relationship Management database (ActionKit).
  • Writing and executing MySQL queries to build membership data for reports, list segments, and analysis
  • Work with existing technical vendors to build requirements and implement new online projects
  • Maintain ONE project management platforms in Google and Basecamp
  • Coordinate the build and launch of web pages, page templates, and Web projects and designs; build weekly and monthly membership reports, and maintain metrics
  • Setting weekly and monthly technical project calendars and schedules
  • Explore new tools and resources to help ONE expand its advocacy outreach to increase and engage with our members.
SPECIFIC TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelors in Computer Sciences required
  • Professional experience in digital communications and/or interactive project management with an agency, corporation or non-profit organization is preferred
  • WordPress experience required
  • Excellent knowledge of MySQL and PHP
  • Strong knowledge of modern Web Standards (HTML5, CSS3) with an emphasis on social media integration.  JavaScript/jQuery experience required
  • Knowledge of server setups, server partitioning, and maintaining local files with Github, SVN, or other revision control systems
  • Advanced experience with Google Analytics Goals and Event tracking
  • 3-5 years of experience with Custom Relationship Management (CRM) database experience, preferably ActionKit or a similar non-profit database tool such as Blackbaud or Blue State Digital
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, organize time and identify resources for projects as needed
  • Ability to work with different teams and departments to build requirements and specifications for online projects
  • Must be a pro-active, self-starter with exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to produce under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment
