(RED), a division of ONE, seeks a Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships to oversee and deepen key partner relationships that drive awareness, comprehension and impact of the (RED) brand while also delivering critical contributions to the Global Fund. This position is based in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage partner relationships that are critical to the sustainability of the (RED) brand: Develop and lead global marketing and communications strategies with brand partners to attain core objectives of driving sales of (RED) products and maximizing contributions to the Global Fund. Also critical to continue building awareness and comprehension of partnerships and (RED) brand.
- Oversee integration of overall (RED) business and marketing plans supporting (RED)’s two tent pole events each year – (RED)RUSH and World AIDS Day – with partner marketing plans. Ensure partners are scaling up their (RED) activities so that each moment gets bigger and better with deeper partner engagement each and every time we activate.
- Nurture deep relationships within each partner/company team to ensure there are (RED) evangelists carrying the torch within each individual organization.
- Work with marketing lead to ensure any research and analysis for the (RED) brand measures the health of the brand as well as awareness and comprehension are integrating any key partner needs.
- Work with brand team to ensure all partner activity aligns with brand and legal guidelines.
- Collaborate with (RED) + partner digital teams to ensure consistent support behind partners + (RED) messaging on social networks, websites, intranets, etc.
- Continuously work to drive deeper engagement with individual partner brands as well as seeking opportunities for cross-collaboration across partner brands…all to ensure (RED) is generating maximum impact and Global Fund contributions.
- Work with Business Affairs team to negotiate and execute contracts and ensure partners are contributing to the financial sustainability of the (RED) organization.
- Liaise with (RED) Policy Team to communicate global policy issues to partners and create corporate/advocacy collaborations.
- Represent (RED) mission to partners, vendors, celebrities, artists and influencer teams to foster collaborations and cultivate ambassadors for the cause.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience focused on marketing strategies & execution, relationship-building and management with some experience in market research.
- Background in advertising/digital agency account management preferred.
- Some domestic and international travel is required.
