About King’s College LondonAs one of the top 30 Universities worldwide, King’s College London is looking to invest in a talented Senior Business Analyst who can impact and improve current business processes to enable the successful delivery of change across a range of innovative applications including Identity lifecycle management, CRM, SharePoint and infrastructure technologies.
As key roles for the University you will work in partnership with the IT Solutions programme management team in developing and designing the business analysis capabilities to ensure the IT solutions are designed and delivered to provide significant long term value.
Job PurposeAs a Senior Business analyst you will be the main driver in bridging the gap between IT and the organisation in order to identify and define the improvement of business processes and policies to ensure the successful delivery of a range of innovative IT Solutions.
Job ResponsibilitiesWorking alongside the IT Solutions programme management team you will liaise with the business to identify solution requirements, document findings and prepare recommendations that will improve the operational effectiveness of the University.
In this pivotal role, you will act as both an agent of change and subject matter expert, providing guidance and building relationships across a wide stakeholder community and business partners. You will ensure IT enabled solutions support the strategic goals of the University through the shaping and evaluation of business cases.
Core Skills
- A high level honours degree or equivalent qualification ideally in a computing/IT related area.
- Substantial experience of business analysis in a commercial and innovative technology environment using a variety of methodologies and techniques.
- Experience of understanding business requirements, reviewing and improving business processes, data mapping and workflow modelling.
- Proven experience in building strong relationships across complex organisations, stakeholder groups and partner organisations to enable the smooth delivery of business analysis.
- Demonstrable experience in managing, engaging and inspiring teams and colleagues to enable the delivery of projects, solutions and services.
Communication
- You will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual who is able to challenge and influence others, develop and maintain collaborative working relations across IT and non IT departments.
- High level, proven inter-personal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
