In line with this, they are looking for an excellent candidate (on various level) to be apart of their Transaction Banking team in Malaysia.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- To develop and champion sales strategies for assigned Trade and Cash Products with a view to supporting the achievement of revenue budgets across selective segments
- Support Relationship Managers by providing consultative support as well as assist in selling and structuring tailor made solutions to meet and exceed customer’s needs that will differentiate our service standards alignment with Customer’s Value Proposition.
- Identify prospective cash management customers from existing customers and also to develop new cash-led relationships.
- Maintain close relationship with existing and prospective customers and develop a deep understanding of the customers business and banking requirements.
- Responsible for providing support in developing profitable and quality business on Transactional trade sales with focus on Generic Trade, Receivable Services, Vendor Finance, Buyers Finance, Suppliers Finance and Structured Trade solutions in general.
- Work with the Relationship Managers on account planning sessions of the clients handled, to proactively work on “Transaction Banking” strategy for the accounts.
The Successful Applicant
You are a professional with a minimum of 8 years experience in trade finance or a combination of trade finance and Cash Management, within banking or related financial industries. Exposure in handling commodity portfolio is an added advantage. You must be able to work independently, effectively and efficiently as an individual, as well as a team contributor. You are proactive in increasing wallet shares and resourceful in providing solutions to clients. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent command of written and spoken English and possession of good presentation skill is essential for this role.
