Scope of Responsibilities: 
  • Part of Petrofac Floating Production senior management team.
  • Focal point for project and engineering issues and all project contractual issues
  • Provide management and safety leadership and technical expertise to PFP and their assets in the UK, Asia and worldwide operations.
  • Responsible for negotiating new lease contracts with PFP’s clients in close co-operation with Commercial
  • Liaise and develop professional relationships with the senior management of PFP’s clients and sub-contractors and Petrofac corporate support groups
  • Liaise with and manage other Petrofac affiliates as sub-contractors for CAPEX projects and operational requirements
  • Provide assistance to PFP’s Business Development teams with new prospects and in leveraging additional work scope from existing projects
  • Monitor the overall performance of the subcontracted EPC and O&M contracts to ensure the clients and PFP’s deliverables are being achieved or surpassed
  • Develop and monitor the CAPEX and operations budget
  • Develop and enhance PFP’s reputation as a reputable FPSO/ Floating facility provider and operator
  • Provide support to PFP’s senior management team during emergency situations
  • Provide support and asset status reports to PFP’s COO 
Primary Duties:
  • Demonstrate, promote and adhere to high standards of health and safety in conformance with Petrofac Group policies and procedures and meeting all regulatory requirements as appropriate to each particular operation.
  • Support and guidance through Define & Execute to Operate activities carried out by Petrofac entities
  • Establish and maintain good client relationships with focus on meeting or exceeding client’s needs within contractual limits.
  • Be primary focal point for all contractual issues with clients.
  • Be responsible for delivering contractual requirements to clients.
  • Establish and oversee EPC and O&M subcontracts. Closely monitor subcontractor’s performance to ensure client’s needs are met or exceeded.
  • Organize and direct the projects team within PFP. Closely monitor team performance and set targets and deadlines.
  • Constantly review income versus expenditure and ensure all expenditure is duly warranted and authorized.
  • Provide suitable reports to PFP’s COO on a structured and frequent basis.
  • Liaise with all other members of PFP management team and other technical, business development and commercial teams to enhance and expand PFP capabilities.
