'Aponjon' is a brand of mHealth service through mobile phones for expecting and new mothers in Bangladesh under the auspices of Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action (MAMA), incepted by USAID and Johnson and Johnson in partnership with mHealth Alliance, UN Foundation and Baby Center LLC. | Major Responsibilities |
- Develop and implementation of M&E agenda;
- Establish an institution-wise monitoring and evaluation system;
- Lead the development and implementation of M&E plan of various programs and initiatives;
- Design the monitoring and evaluation tools;
- Lead design and development of institution-wise real time monitoring system integrating both web-based and mobile platform;
- Lead design and development of institution-wise real time monitoring system integrating both web-based and mobile platform;
- Lead development of M&E information system;
- Lead the development of the evaluation design, tools, protocols and procedures;
- Oversee monitoring and evaluation data collection activities, including logistics of form distribution and collection;
- Oversee data processing, including data transfer, entry, verification and cleaning;
- Ensure forms are file according to compliance protocols;
- Oversee internal communication on M&E progress and results;
- Conduct training for internal capacity building in M&E;
- Ensure data quality assurance checks;
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analyses;
- Generate data reports in compliance with procedures and agreements of various partners, where applicable;
- Lead preparation of evaluation reports;
- Lead and prepare, where necessary, M&E reports in compliance with procedures and agreements;
- Ensure effective communication between M&E, Knowledge management and communication teams;
- Ensure proper communications for stakeholders based on M&E data;
- Provide other management and support to M&E team as needed;

| Required Academic Qualifications |
- Masters in any one of the following disciplines: Statistics, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Development Informatics or similar discipline; or allied disciplines;
- Higher or multiple academic degrees in relevant disciplines may get preference;
- Specialized academic degree or training in quantitative and qualitative research methodology;
- Training in data analysis using various software.

| Required Experience |
- 6 years of total professional experience in M&E using both quantities and qualitative techniques, experience in designing and using data visualization tools, of which 3 years� experience in senior position;
- Experience in international research publication will be an added advantage;
- Experience may be relaxed for extra-ordinary young candidate.

| Additional Requirement |
- Excellent and proven analytical skills;
- Proven IT skills, with experience of conceptualizing design and supporting development, maintenance large databases;
- Ability to learn new tools and transfer the knowledge to the team.
