Position Title: Senior Manager / Head of Operations, KDS Cotton Poly Thread Industries Ltd.

Job location: Chittagong, Bangladesh

As the In Charge in the Thread Factory at KDS Accessories, responsible for :

Major responsibility is leading the business unit independently & to achieve the business target.
Responsible for end-to-end production related function at the sewing thread dyeing factory including raw material receipt, production, quality control and delivery of finished goods.
Managing end-to-end operation of the thread factory using available machinery/technology & process norms to ensure smooth & effective production of thread.
Plans, assesses & resolves all day-to-day material, technical & people related problem & issues at various stages of the production process, raw material receipt & utilization, drying & finishing.
Identifies cost reduction opportunities at various stages of thread process through innovative process modification, quality control & reducing reworks.
Assist in the budgeting process by providing inputs related to CAPEX & OPEX with regard to thread factory.
Educational:

Post Graduation in Textile is preferred / Bachelor of Engineering; MBA (optional).
Essentials:

Minimum of 8 years work experience in any yarn dyeing industry out of which at least 4 years as production / factory head.
Good product knowledge in cotton, polyester yarn are essential.
Having practical experience of Thread dyeing & drying machine installation & general factory maintenance.
Good operating knowledge in computer applications.
Must be fluent in spoken & written English.
