KEY AREAS OF RESPONSBILITIES AND TASKS
The Global Custom Development Execution team within SAP Custom Development is chartered with executing custom development projects and related services, building Focused Business Solutions and Repeatable Custom Solutions where success is measured by effectively leveraging the global capabilities of our team to deliver those projects on-time, on-budget, with high profitability and superior quality.
For our growing LATAM development team located in Sao Leopoldo we are looking for a leader for this emerging market to drive innovation and delivery excellence.
This position is responsible for oversight to all developments for the LATAM market. To accomplish this, the regional execution team in Sao Leopoldo will report into this position. In addition to managing managers of execution teams, this role may also have responsibility for project managers and architects
The head of these teams will report directly to the Global Head of Custom Development Execution Americas and EMEA.
This role is primarily responsible for:
- Provide oversight and direction to the entire LATAM development teams. This includes but is not limited to oversight and efficiency improvement of processes, skills and execution excellence
- Provide oversight and accountability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and with superior quality
- Ensure a global information exchange and communication between the development regions of SAP Custom Development, in project execution as well as for global initiatives
- Collaborate directly with the Go-To-Market unit of CD Latin America to ensure timely delivery of ballparks estimations, evaluations, correct positioning of Custom Development solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate directly with Custom Development Operations and Controlling to ensure continued improvement of processes, tool and procedures, timely completion of administrative activities, and a continued focus on operational efficiency and compliance.
- Maturing and growing a team of architects, developers, project, and quality managers.
- Be a multiplier of personal skills by actively mentoring the local management team and key position holders

- Extensive service delivery and development project execution experience
- Hands on experience in managing of large development projects
- Experience in driving change
- Experience in leading delivery or development organizations
- Strong intercultural skills
- Languages: Excellent English, Spanish or Portuguese preferred
