Contract: Full-time (although flexible hours will be considered)

The Conservatoire is a unique higher education institution comprising an affiliation of eight schools which are world leaders in offering education and training in circus arts, dance, drama and technical theatre. The Conservatoire was established in 2001 with two founding affiliate schools, London Contemporary Dance School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Six other schools joined between 2003 and 2005: Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Central School of Ballet, Circus Space, the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person as Academic Registrar to lead, develop and manage the Conservatoire’s registry function including quality assurance and enhancement systems, record-keeping, internal and external reporting, and to assist the affiliate schools by supporting, training and developing staff to deliver a high quality service. This role is fundamental to the success of the Conservatoire in delivering its vocational and academic mission.
We are seeking someone with around five years’ experience in quality assurance management within HE including three years at a senior level. As well as having the right professional skills, we would like someone with a passion for our art-forms and a commitment to developing the very best student experience which will create the performers and technical professionals of the future. This is an opportunity for the post-holder to take a leading role and make a valuable contribution to the Conservatoire and its schools.
