Planning Coordinator Petrofac Training Services - Malaysia


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Responsible for the preparation of planning, scheduling, and co-ordination, of all Technical & HSE Training activities related to the INSTEP project
  • To track and report the progress of the agreed training and development programmes.
  • To check out and agree with client and vendors on the close out of service orders and translate to economic value for prompt invoicing.
  • Be fully competent in the use of PC’s. (Microsoft Office , Microsoft Project, and Prima Vera package)
  • Partner with the HR Coordinator to maintain a data base (electronic and hard copy) of all individual training records, and to provide accurate reports as and when required
  • To provide the client with detailed student progress reports, and ongoing individual and team development plans/course schedules/learning events
  • Liaise with all equipment vendors to ensure that all courses are being conducted under the terms and conditions of the contract
  • To co-ordinate the activities of any visiting instructors (This may include relevant HSE programmes)
  • Support the project admin coordinator to liaise with vendor and technical department for the variations and non-standard buy outs apart from the PO.
  • The role would be based out of Kuala Lumpur to start with; however flexibility to move to Terenganu in a time frame of 12-18 months would be necessary for this role.

Desired Skills & Experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • A formal undergraduate degree or similar qualification would be desirable
  • Ideally someone who has been working on planning schedules and programs in a training centre.
  • Intense experience in scheduling and planning activities; experience in logistics and planning in a distribution, BPO, training environment would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum experience of 6-8 years in planning, scheduling and logistics would be required for this position.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and change direction as necessary; proficient in negotiation and mediation
